Shottenkirk Automotive Group started over 45 years ago with a single Chevrolet dealership in a small town in Western Illinois. After 20 years as an award-winning dealer there, the Shottenkirk family moved its base of operations to Iowa, and has grown into a substantial dealer group, with 7 new vehicle dealership locations in Iowa and Illinois.
This success and growth is due in no small part to what we call, “The Shottenkirk Way”, our commitment to total customer satisfaction throughout the buying, service and ownership experience. This dedication to exceeding customer expectations along with fair pricing remain the cornerstones of our business.
In October of 2004, Shottenkirk acquired Cunningham Chevrolet/Pontiac in Adel, IA and moved the dealership to its current location in Waukee.
Doug DeYarman, who had been a member of the Shottenkirk organization for over 25 years and oversaw the acquisition and development of the dealership, became co-owner with Greg Shottenkirk and is now the local managing partner.
In just a few short years Shottenkirk Waukee Chevy has gone from one of the smallest Chevrolet dealerships in the state to one of the largest, and one of the top 100 GM Certified Used Vehicle dealers in the United States.
While our business has grown very quickly we still keep our commitment to give you the individual attention you have come to expect from us at Shottenkirk.
Our current state-of-the-art sales and service facility opened for business in December of 2008. Its customer-friendly design offers many amenities to sales and service customers alike.
